After 2 years of cancellation due to the Corona pandemic, Løkken Antique Fair returns to Løkken-hallen 4.-5.-6.-7. August 2022. At the same time, it will be possible to celebrate the 45th anniversary, which should have been held in 2020.
It is a happy and relieved organizer who is looking forward to open the doors for the audience again.
“The last 2½ years have been marked by uncertainty and cancellations due to Corona. It has been a difficult time for many. As the organizer of Løkken Antique Fair, we constantly worked with an uncertain deadline that could change due to the development of the infection or the authorities’ referrals. But since spring, we have been optimistic about arranging Løkken Antique Fair, and now we are happy to open the doors on August 4.”, says Carl Sørensen from Gule Længe Antik in Lønstrup.
Together with his wife Bitten Madsen and son Andreas Sørensen, Carl Sørensen is responsible for organizing Løkken Antique Fair. They are all looking forward to once again being able to welcome the audience and exhibitors inside Løkken-hallen.
“It was a strange feeling not to go out to Løkken-hallen in August two years ago, as I usually do. I have not been used to anything else”, says Andreas Sørensen, who was not born when his parents started Løkken Antique Fair. “But now it will be nice to meet the antique dealers and visitors again after two years of cancellations.”
“We have always been happy with the support for the antique fair. Both among the audience and exhibitors, there are many who have been to Løkken Antique Fair for 10, 20, 30 or even 40 years. So, we hope everyone still wants to support the fair, especially here after Corona. Under all circumstances, we have done our best to gather a lot of exciting exhibitors in antiques, art, design, and retro, so we can live up to our motto of quality and tradition.”, concludes Carl Sørensen.
